Law Enforcement Shooting
Law
Enforcement Agencies have known for years, most officers never see their
sights when in a gun fight.
|
Do you really want to : |
- Become a better shooter?
- Save money? There is no need to travel.
- Save time? Practice safely at the home or in the
office.
- Improve your shooting in air-conditioned comfort
without firing a shot?
|
In just 10 minutes twice a day for a
week, you can begin to overcome the three biggest problems a shooter has:
1. Inconsistent gun mount.
2. The gun stops when the trigger is pulled.
3. Lack of practice.
Your favorite shotgun, rifle, handgun, bow, and a mirror
(preferably full length), and the Leon
Measures' Shoot Where You LookSM Book and
VHS/DVD, are all you need.
All for $69.95 (+Tax
in Texas)

"I am not writing you to discuss what we both
know is probably the best learning method that exists
today involving shotguns and rifles. I
spent over thirty years as a police officer with the Texas Department of
Public Safety. The firearms
training which I received is probably the best in state law enforcement
anywhere. I always considered myself to be a very good
pistol shooter.
After applying the Shoot Where You Look
sm method to pistol shooting, I improved my firearms
scores, during required biannual qualifications, to the
high 290’s (out of a possible 300 perfect
score). Not only did I see an improvement in my “10” score, but
started consistently placing more shots
in the “X” ring.
Thanks again for sharing your techniques with
me early on. I would not hesitate recommending
Shoot Where You Looksm to anyone that wants to improve his or
her shooting ability. Whether it is long
gun or pistol shooters the
Shoot Where You Looksm method,
in my opinion,
is by far the best program I have ever seen.

"My name is Dan Walker. For nine
years I was Firearms Training Specialist for the Texas Department of Public
Safety.
As long as I can remember I have
been fascinated by the gunfighters of the 'Old West' and their
uncanny shooting skills. I passed
this ability off to embellishment by historians. The result of instinct
shooting has been known for centuries. I had never seen formal instruction on
how to master this skill that proved successful, until I met Leon Measures.
Law
Enforcement Agencies
have known for years, most officers never
see their sights when in a gun fight. The concept and application
of Leon Measures' Shoot Where You Looksm program is
literally a lifesaving tool
for officers who apply what Leon
teaches.
I recently retired from the
Texas Department of Public Safety,
still have opportunity to go back and teach, and continue to instruct in the
Security Services Profession. I frequently refer to my chance meeting with
Leon Measures and to the information he so willingly shared."

"Law
Enforcement shooting is the perfect venue for Shoot Where
You Looksm. Large targets at close ranges.
Law Enforcement shooting- by
shooting with both eyes open you’re
not wasting time to acquire targets.
Pistols, rifle, and shotgun
can all work well with what you taught me
all those years ago. The last match that I shot at Oakwood I
only had two misses. I am slow because
of my health, but accurate. I shoot with the Texas Regulators
and the Oakwood Outlaws. Oakwood will be hoisting TSRA match in September,
maybe you could attend and do a seminar? You would probably get a lot of
publicity. I know that people at Oakwood very well. Let’s hear from
ya."

"Nobody can hold a gun still.
The very best rifle shot has the ability to pull the trigger as the muzzle
is about to come across the target. That little
'something' in the back of the
shooter's head tells the shooter when
to pull the trigger.
That
little 'something', learned to
tell the shooter when to pull the trigger because the shooter taught it to
know when ,
by days and years of practice." Law
Enforcement officers would do well to emulate this method.
"Uncle
Henry (as he was known in the community) would
pitch a crock marble into the air
and split it with the first shot. The
next two shots would 'powder' two of the biggest pieces before
they hit the ground. He shot a Stevens Visable
Loader .22 pump gun." |
