Leon Measures' Shoot Where You Look

Cowboy Action

"Cowboy Action Shooting is the perfect venue for Shoot Where You Look sm.  Large targets at close ranges.  By shooting with both eyes open you’re not wasting time to acquire targets.  Pistols, rifle, and shotgun can all work well with what you taught me all those years ago.  The last match that I shot at Oakwood I only had two misses.  I am slow because of my health, but accurate.  I shoot with the Texas Regulators and the Oakwood Outlaws.  Oakwood will be hoisting TSRA match in September, maybe you could attend and do a seminar?  You would probably get a lot of publicity.  I know that people at Oakwood very well.  Let’s hear from ya.."

"Any shooter who fires a shot through a barrel at a target moving or still, can benefit from the Shoot Where You Look SM book and video."

"----For nine years I was Firearms Training Specialist for the Texas Department of Public Safety. The result of instinct shooting has been known for centuries. The concept and application of Leon Measures' Shoot Where You Look sm program is literally a lifesaving tool for officers who apply what Leon teaches."

Lt. Dan Walker, Texas D.P.S. Academy, Retired.

"Uncle Henry (as he was known in the community) would pitch a crock marble into the air and split it with the first shot. The next two shots would 'powder' two of the biggest pieces before they hit the ground. He shot a Stevens Visable Loader .22 pump gun."

Very likely as good a rifle shot as
Texas has ever produced.
He was my Grandfather.

----"I always considered myself to be a very good pistol shooter, after applying the Shoot Where You Looksm method to pistol shooting. I improved my firearms scores during required biannual qualifications to the high 290's (out of a possible 300 perfect score). Not only did I see an improvement in my "10" score, but started consistently placing more shots in the "X" ring."

"Nobody can hold a gun still. The very best rifle shot has the ability to pull the trigger as the muzzle is about to come across the target. That little 'something' in the back of the shooter's head tells the shooter when to pull the trigger.
That little 'something' learned to tell the shooter when to pull the trigger because the shooter taught it to know when by days and years of practice."

Warning!
It is a known fact; we resort to whatever action we have taught our instincts to do, when confronted by a life threatening, or emergency situation.
If you have practiced and are proficient with sights on a handgun, a gun fight is NOT the place to learn instinctive shooting!

Just a few of the unsolicited comments we have heard over the years.

Safety!! Never, ever, point a gun; loaded, unloaded, on safe, off safe, or otherwise at anything you don't intend to shoot!
You will never have to say, "I didn't know it was loaded."
