I am writing this letter to tell you how very much I enjoyed your "Shoot Where You Look" course.
It amazes me that you could take a woman in her "late" 40's who is blind in her left eye, left handed, right eye dominant, shoots right handed, with little to NO experience shooting, and after only 1 hour a week for 4 short weeks, have her shooting aspirins in the air with a BB gun!! Even though I know I was supposed to practice 20-30 minutes a day, my work schedule did not always permit that, and yet I was still successful beyond my wildest expectations! I feel I owe that to your teaching expertise.
As you know, my reason for taking the lessons was to learn how to shoot birds on the wing. I had opportunity to go duck hunting, and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn! I must tell you that after completing the course, I bagged my limit of blue wing teal my first trip out! Now I go duck hunting every chance I get, and every time I get in a good shot, I think of you and smile, knowing how proud you'd be of this "ole lady student".
I want to know, however, that my shooting skills were not the only benefit of the class. I have a reverence for gun safety that I would never have acquired without your training. In addition, this new found hobby has afforded me the pleasure of meeting a great number of fellow hunters and friends who share my love of the outdoors and wonderful sport of hunting. One of the most important benefits, however was the tremendous effect the whole experience had on my self esteem. I have felt very good about taking the course, following it through, and learning how to do something that very few women accomplish. It is very rewarding to know you're the best that you can be!
Thank you for all of your guidance, patience, and for your friendship. May you always keep your love for the sport and your zest for teaching.
You're the greatest: Thank you
